
CEAC Services
Collaborative Educational Advocacy and Consulting provides a variety of services to help support families and self-advocates understand the IEP process, effectively communicate with the IEP team and secure appropriate education services by understanding their rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) Laws.

Direct Advocacy & Consulting
One-on-one direct support. Services may include but are not limited to attending IEP and other school meetings, preparation for meetings, assist in writing meeting agenda, student-led IEP's, emails or letters to school, records review and development of action plan, implementation of action plan.

Comprehensive Review of Documents
Comprehensive review of documents including consent for evaluation, evaluation report, eligibility determination, Individualized Education Plan (IEP), Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), 504 plan, Functional Behavior Assessment, Behavior Intervention Plan, progress monitoring and reports, and home to school communications. Documents may go through one or multiple stages of review and amendment to develop a thorough and compliant individualized plan.

Interpreting Evaluations & Reports
Interpret reports and evaluations to assist families in understanding the purpose, data and results which lead to recommendations for accommodations or services.

Parent and Legal Guardian Empowerment
Provide training and resources to effectively navigate the IEP process. By understanding and effectively executing each step of the IEP process, families can work together with educators to create a supportive and inclusive educational environment for students.

Navigating Educational & Disability Systems
